Detection of Breast Tumor
Detecting breast tumor now can be done ourselves. Just illuminate the breast with a red flashlight from a tumor-detection tool, a woman can tell whether she had a tumor or not in her breast. The breast detector is now available to answer women fears about the breast tumor. The instrument that was called The Breastlight was equipped with LED light that can be expected to detect breast tumor up to 96 percent.
Researchers from Sunderland City Hospital have been proved the success of this equipment through an experiment in Ghana. Detection of breast tumor usually done with Mammography technique with the success rate for detecting a cancer between 60 to 85 percent. But with the Breastlight equipment, the success rate could be higher even this equipment can detect very small lumps (7 mm) which is usually can’t be detected by Mammography.
The Breastlight be present as equipment that women can use anywhere and anytime, especially for those who feel ashamed if they have to check their breasts every month in the hospital. Using the Breastlight is very easy. First, make sure the user is in a dark room. While standing, place the instrument just below the breasts and turn the red light on and illuminated the entire breast tissue. A healthy breast can be seen its blood vessels tissues that are small and thin.
